calling other students weekly, sending out cards to visitors
Prayer Team:
intercessory group that prays for/with other students over the phone, online, or in person
Servant Team:
a team of servers, audio/visual, music, creative, administrative, set up
Teaching Team:
a team of students who teach other students how to have an intimate, daily relationship with Jesus
Evangelism Team:
a team of students who just can’t keep this God thing to themselves, (and then…)
Uprising
teams of students LEADING face to face encounters with God within their own schools.
Go
big and small opportunities provided for students to bring a dose of Jesus to others in need.
Purpose Statement
the.altar exists to reach students for Jesus Christ, to connect them with other Christians, to disciple them in their faith, to identify and release their individual giftings and callings in ministry, and thereby worship God with all their lives, and then…
this is our purpose statement, and this is who we are. At the.altar, we believe that students are called to walk with God in a real way. We are all about having a real, intimate relationship with God. To provide an opportunity for students see Jesus face to face and then let HIM do the rest.
