Mission Statement: Partnering with parents to help children develop a real relationship with Jesus in an environment where they are valued, safe and have fun.

SP Kids meet together downstairs for worship time then break into smaller classes for age-based learning.

4 yr olds-Kindergarden Class – This class is a safe and loving place for kids to learn about God and grow in their relationship with Him. After joining the older kids for worship, they go to their own room for a time of teaching, crafts and snacks geared for their age. We seek to create an environment that is inviting and help them to see that we serve a real and living God who desires us to be an active part of His Story.

1st – 5th Grade Class – This class meets together downstairs during the morning service. It is an upbeat, fun-filled, active time for the kids. It is designed to have an “upstairs adult church” feel with a kid emphasis so that they are well prepared when it is time for them to make the transition to our upstairs service. Kids learn about God and growing in their relationships with Him through energetic worship, ice-breakers games, Bible verse memorization. Our team directors use the “More Jesus” curriculum to teach stories and truths from the Bible in a way kids can relate to and identify with using songs, skits and demonstrations in their lessons. We also place emphasis on growing in service through the giving of their tithes and offerings which have gone to help children in Haiti and the Angel Tree Program among others. Our goal for the SPKids program is to help every child feel safe and welcome as they learn about our real, loving God who desires us to be an active part of His Story.
